Saturday U5/U6 Soccer Coach
Position: U5/U6 Soccer Coach
Schedule: Saturdays
Age Group: 4–6 years old
Role Type: Part-time / Weekend
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic soccer coach to lead our U5/U6 players on Saturdays. The primary goal is to create a fun, welcoming, and enjoyable environment where young players can develop a love for soccer, build confidence, and learn basic skills through age-appropriate activities and games.
- Lead engaging Saturday soccer sessions for U5/U6 players.
- Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Introduce basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, and coordination.
- Use fun games, activities, and small-sided play to keep young players active and engaged.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, listening, and confidence.
- Adapt activities to the different abilities and attention spans of young children.
- Provide positive feedback and celebrate effort and improvement.
- Maintain a safe and organized training environment.
- Communicate positively and professionally with parents and program staff.
Ideal Candidate
- Enjoys working with young children and has a positive, energetic personality.
- Has a passion for soccer and enjoys introducing the game to beginners.
- Patient, enthusiastic, encouraging, and dependable.
- Previous coaching or experience working with young children is preferred but not required.
- Playing or coaching experience is a plus.
- Comfortable leading groups of young children in an active environment.
- Committed to creating a “fun first” experience where children look forward to coming back each Saturday.
What Success Looks Like
The ideal coach will help children smile, move, play, learn, and build confidence while developing their first soccer skills in a supportive environment. The emphasis is on enjoyment, participation, and creating a positive first experience with soccer—not competition or winning.

TinyTykes is a FUNdamental introduction to the game of soccer for players aged 2-6. Players learn the introductory skills of soccer through you teaching them fun games and stories in weekly classes lasting 45 mins each. Our soccer experts and child development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum for you to follow which introduces young soccer stars to the basic skills needed in soccer as well as developing their motor, social, and psychological skills.
